Let’s get more moody, contoured, sculpted lighting in our lounges, gold rooms, and dimmer rooms.
A naked flouro tube up overhead is pretty sad for the LIGHTING department. Lighting for a motion picture in order to set the tone and shape the mood of the product we manufacture.
I’m thinkin’ under-counter puck lights, spot JDR’s blasting various props and wall hangings laying about, a pinched Kino (2800ºK) over the work desk, and a Robert Richardson flaming PAR 64 (500W) straight down on the ratty couch.
Please tell me you had the lamp on a dim channel!
And I’m surprised you didn’t spin the seam on the lamp shade away from camera before you took the shot. Where’s the on set dresser when you need them?? ;-)
